DEMONSTRATION ON ANSIBLE INDUSTRIES USE-CASES

I am glad to share with my viewers that I have attended one session name “Industry Use Case On Automation Using Ansible” which is delivered by Mr Sreejith Anujan and Mr Arun Eapen they tell us how automation with ansible can be answer to our many industries problems.

They talk about how opensource and redhat technology can be used to respond to the challenges faced by the business especially during the pandemic.

ANSIBLE TOWER

Ansible Tower(formerly ‘AWX’) is a web-based solution that makes Ansible even more easy to use for IT teams of all kinds. It’s designed to be the hub for all of your automation tasks.

Tower is an enterprise automation solution built on top of ansible engine .Ansible tower give you cluster feature that doesn’t failed even your controller node fails

tower allows you to control access to who can access what, even allowing sharing of SSH credentials without someone being able to transfer those credentials. Inventory can be graphically managed or synced with a wide variety of cloud sources. It logs all of your jobs, integrates well with LDAP, and has an amazing browsable REST API. Command line tools are available for easy integration with Jenkins as well. Provisioning callbacks provide great support for autoscaling topologies.

In very first practical they show us how we can launch amazon instance using ansible tower

👉We Learnt about ansible feature like it provide us WEBUI based environment features like creating aws instances ,job template etc

👉job template — A job template is the set of parameters for running an ansible job

👉They tell us how to automate ansible with oracle cloud and also give us a practical demo

👉They tell us about CHATOPS

Devops shared understanding among peer monitoring and notifying using a medium called infrastructure where every connection can get notified about the other persons work that medium is just a channel for eg slack

ChatOps is a collaboration model that connects people, tools, process, and automation into a transparent workflow. This flow connects the work that is needed, the work that is happening, and the work that was done in a persistent location that is staffed by people, bots, and related tools. For eg Slack ,Hipchat etc

👉They also show us the workflow visualization first they create AWS resource and then deploy to production and also apply some cases like what happen if it fails

👉Ansible tower can also be used for GitOps functionality

PROVISIONING ORACLE CLOUD INFRASTRUCURE:

Installing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (oci module) using pip. Provisioning a CentOs7 Instance on top of Custom Architecture on OCI created Creating Python Virtual Environment.
